Scott Heiman
Owner
Scott is co-owner of Empire Paving, the licensed contractor of record for the company. He leads day-to-day field operations and is personally active on Empire Paving's job sites — a hands-on style reflected in the company's growth from a single tool truck to a fleet of 150+ pieces of equipment and 50+ trucks. Scott has overseen major commercial paving projects across Northeast Ohio including the Cleveland Browns' Berea training camp, Cleveland Clinic facilities, and AutoNation locations. He also owns Empire Materials and S&H Capital.
Nick Sommer
Owner
Nick is co-owner of Empire Paving and the principal owner listed on the company's Better Business Bureau profile. He leads business development, client relationships, and project management oversight across Empire Paving's commercial and industrial portfolio, with a focus on long-term partnerships with Northeast Ohio property owners, retail chains, and institutional clients. Nick's expertise spans the full scope of Empire Paving's services — from commercial parking lot construction and asphalt milling to sewer and drainage installation.
